She shared her knowledge of the arts as a junior high teacher for 22 years in Washington, Iowa. After raising 4 children and retiring from teaching she had her own business and studio selling her pottery and painting. She published a book “Prosaic Pallet” with 60 of her paintings and narration for each. Her work was displayed in Washington Iowa at the Community Center, Public Library, and several churches. The Washington Hospital purchased 6 of her paintings, and she was awarded purchase award for a painting now housed in the Washington public library. She was a part of 3 women’s studio tours and 3 Eastern Iowa Studio tours. Pam has participated in the MacNider Art Festivals, Clear Lake Art Sail, North Iowa Studio Tour In Mason City, and Clear Lake Farmer’s market.
